Some time ago I bought a Japanese lamp on ebay, it was pretty cheap and the size was perfect for 28/30mm scale miniatures, so with some added rooftiles and wall texture this is the result.

On a rainy day, me and my wife decided to model some lovely japanese lanterns and after 2 hours we had these three lanterns and some small decorations which I will use in a later project.

This temple took me about 6 hours to complete, the main issue I had was the slightly curved roof and the four corners of the roof. In the end I think the result is nice, but if I had to make another I would try some real shingled rooftiles, maybe next time hehe.

This was my first painted scenery piece for Dead Walk Again; a zombie skirmish game from planned movement production. This little garbage container is from a garbage truck toy set and suits really well with 28mm miniatures.
